Take your design skills to a new level in this enchanting Holiday Charmers class! Starting with a pencil design of decorative script lettering, we will inhabit the lettering with a charming holiday creature. As we explore colour techniques that create luminous effects on the page, our Holiday Charmers will begin to sparkle and glow. Session One will focus on the draft design, creating festive script letters, designing holiday foliates, and drawing a merry little mouse.
Session Two will focus on gilding technique, painting festive script letters, and a layered wet and dry brush painting technique for the mouse. Watercolour will be used during the class, but these designs can be done with watercolour pencils or colour pencils. You can choose to add a sweet bird to your design along with your mouse. Your finished design will be suitable for framing or for printing as a seasonal card. The creation of an original design is encouraged but if you are new to drawing, there will be guides to follow in the handouts. There is something for all skill levels in this class and you will be able to build on these ideas for years to come! Bring a sense of wonder with you as we unleash the magic of these Holiday Charmers.

- The class is a live Zoom class that will run for 2.5 hours with time for Q&A.
- Each session is recorded and available to watch for a full 6 weeks.

- All you need can be found in the online classroom, including the handouts, the supply list, the Zoom links, and the videos to watch when convenient for you.
